On East 80th Street
Russian Manicure
on the Upper East Side
A neighborhood studio on East 80th Street. Dry e-file precision, sterilized instruments and a finish that grows out invisibly.
The Upper East Side has no shortage of nail salons — but very few specialize in the technique that makes a manicure last. At KRASIVO, a Russian manicure is the core of what we do, and our studio at 223 E 80th St (77 St, 6 train) brings it to the neighborhood, between 2nd and 3rd Avenue.
The method is completely dry. Instead of soaking and clipping, your master works with a fine electric file and sterilized bits to lift away the cuticle and dry skin around each nail, never cutting into living tissue. Gel polish is then laid almost beneath the cuticle line, so regrowth stays hidden for three to four weeks.
Every appointment is private and unhurried — 75 to 120 minutes focused only on your hands. Instruments are sterilized and sealed before you sit down. Many neighbors add a Russian pedicure or lash extensions in the same visit.

Getting here from the Upper East Side
If you already live on the Upper East Side, you are likely within a 5–15 minute walk. From the 77 St station on the 6 train, walk three blocks north on Lexington and turn east on 80th Street — about 5 minutes. From the Q at 86 St–2 Av, it is roughly 7 minutes south. Enter through Krasivo Beauty Cafe at 223 East 80th Street; the studio is inside, through the glass door.
Clients from Carnegie Hill, Lenox Hill and Yorkville book early-morning and weekend slots most often. Online booking takes about a minute.
A neighborhood studio, a Russian standard.
Our Upper East Side team trains in the same Russian technique and hygiene protocol as our Chelsea studio. The result is the same clean contour, the same thin, durable gel layer and the same attention to every edge before you leave.
Most regulars return every three to four weeks, often keeping the same standing slot so the routine fits around school runs, work and weekends.
